Workshop
Workshop on recent Service Tax Amendment and Implication
under MVAT held on 8th June, 2007 at R.V. Patel Conference Hall, Mazgaon
Tower, Mazgaon, Mumbai 400 010. Total 59 Members were attended. CA. Rajiv
Luthia (Service Tax) and CA. Deepak H. Thakkar ( MVAT) spoke in the workshop.

Study Circle Meeting
The 14th Study Circle Meeting was held on The Sales Tax
Practitioners’ Association Library Hall, R.No. 104, First Floor, Vikrikar Bhavan,
Mazgaon, on 14th June, 2007 wherein Shri Ajay Deoras, Dy. Comm. of Sales Tax.
spoke on "Issue of C Form" and Shri D.H. Joshi spoke on "Right to Information".
Members in large number attended the meeting.

To recognize bright students of members some prizes have been
instituted by our Association out of specific funds received from our members.
The following cash prizes are to be awarded to the children
of the members of our Association who have obtained highest percentage of marks
at the following subject or examinations held in the academic year 2006-07.

(For securing the highest percentage of marks at the B.Com. Examination.)

(For securing the highest percentage of marks in paper of Acountancy paper at
the B.Com. Examination)
