Study Circle Meetings
The 6th Study Circle Meeting was held on The Sales Tax
Practitioners’ Association Library Hall, R. No. 104, First Floor, Vikrikar
Bhavan, Mazgaon, on 23rd November, 2006 wherein Shri S.S. Gaitonde , Advocate,
spoke on "Meaning of Works Contract" under MVAT Act, 2002, and under C.S.T.
Act, 1956.
The 7th Study Circle Meeting was held on The Sales Tax
Practitioners’ Association Library Hall, R. No. 104, First Floor, Vikrikar
Bhavan, Mazgaon, on 15th December, 2006 wherein Shri Kantilal P. Jain ,

Outstation Seminars
The Association has conducted series of outstation seminar
Jointly at Sangli on 3rd December with Taxation Consultants Association,
Parbhani on 10th December with Tax Practitioner Association and Nashik with
Nashik Tax Practitioners Association on 16th December 2006.
In Parbhani full day seminar was organised for the first
time in the history of the Associations.
All the seminars were well attended by the members of both
the Associations.

CD of Sales Tax Review containing period from 1-4-1998 till
November 2006 with the gracious hands of our senior member and Past President
Shri S. S. Gaitonde on 15th December, 2006.
