Protest against VAT Audit not granting to all the
Practitioners & Advocates
The Association has observed protest week against the VAT
audit provisions between 3rd October and 7th October. The members had put on
the badges with the black ribbon throughout the week.
On 5th of October 2006, the members demonstrated silent
protest and observed one day token fast outside the premises of the Sales Tax
department at Mazgaon. We thank all the members for their support.

Workshop on MVAT Audit
Half Day Workshop on MVAT Audit on Friday, 6th October,
2006 at M.C. Ghia Hall, 18/20, K. Dubhash Marg, Rampart Row, Fort, Mumbai –
400 023.

One-Day Seminar
One-Day Seminar on Implication of Recent Amendments in MVAT
Act and Rules was held on Tuesday, the 17th October, 2006 at IES Manik
Sabhagruha , Bandra (W), Mumbai 400 050. The Seminar was attended by 278
Members.
