I am happy to inform you that our endeavour to establish
direct contact with professionals from remote places have yielded a very
positive result. We have been able to enroll professionals as our members,
wherever we arranged a seminar. Such ventures were very much appreciated by one
and all. The last seminar at Satara tops the list in enrollment of new members.
As many as twenty two (22) practitioners joined the Association on the spot and
many more are expected in the near future, including those from other centres as
well.
By now, each one of you must have received the News Bulletin
started last month. The purpose of such a venture is to communicate the latest
development at the earliest possible time, so that the members can take
advantage of such information in their day-to-day practice. As requested therein
I expect constructive suggestions from members, for making the Bulletin more
useful one.
As the exams of the children are now over, the parents must
now be relieved of the tension and strain in that regard. After such a stressful
period we all look forward to have well deserved summer vacation. This time
however many of us would be at Nepal for our forthcoming International
Residential Refresher Course.
As of today there are no news to report from the Court in
respect of our Writ Petition challenging the constitutional validity of Section
61 of MVAT Act.
