NOTIFICATION 

Maharashtra State Tax on Professions, Trades, Calling and Employments Act, 1975. 

                No. PFT 1105/c.r. 122-a/ Taxation-3. In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of sub-section (1) of section 12 of the Maharshtra State Tax on Professions, Trades, Callings and Employments Act, 1975 (Mah. XVI of 1975), the Government of Maharashtra hereby appoints the Transport Commissioner, Regional Transport Officers, Deputy Regional Transport Officers and Assistant Regional Transport Officers, appointed by it under Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 (Act No. 59 of 1988), to be the Additional Commissioner of Profession Tax, Joint Commissioners of Profession Tax, Deputy Commissioners of Profession Tax and Profession Tax Officers, respectively, for carrying out the purposes of the said Act.
